I have just read about Astell, Mary (1666–1731) in The Oxford Dictionary of Philosophy.
There was a feminist writer (philosopher) before Mary Wollstonecraft? I did not know that.

And Mary Wollstonecroft Godwin caused a huge scandal in her time by having an affair with a married man, the poet Percy Bysshe Shelley! They married each other after the suicide of Percy’s first wife Harriet. Percy himself did not live a long life, dying just before his 30th birthday.
A moment ago, I read about Adonais: An Elegy on the Death of John Keats in The Cambridge Guide to Literature in English. So Keats died before Shelley – short though as the latter’s life was.
